Accessing local home/logs for each cluster node

Are there some APIs that a plugin could use to access/download the log files in the Confluence local home logs directory for each node in a DC cluster?

The support zip tool is somehow able to do it. Is there a way for a plugin to do it?

Not for downloading but you can view them directly in confluence via LastLog plugin (its free).
