Adding additional input fields in the PRoject Creation Dialogue box

Hi,
We are creating a Jira Plugin in Java. At the time of Project Creation, we want to add additional input fields related to the project. Is it possible to add in the default dialogue box along with the Project Name, Key and Project Lead ?

If so, how can we add?

From what I understand, no it’s not possible to extend the project creation dialog. I would love to be wrong but there really is no framework to accomplish it.
