Hello I am trying to automate workflows for my team, and set rules on ticket creation,
I want to do it with forge, but I believe our JIRA instance is not cloud, is server, ie: https:jira.nameofthecompany.com, will it work, or should I use another method.

Forge is only available in Cloud.

You can build customisations for Jira Server and Data Center, but it uses a completely different toolset; not Forge.
