Can someone explain Egress for me in terms Hackathon 2024

One of the rule says projects that do not egress to any external domains or services and exclusively store data using Forge Hosted storage.

I have a forge app that stored all the contact list on Forge storage but send sms over twilio API. does that mean that am egressing to external domain or services. its urgent. Thanks

That rule is an optional requirement for a bonus prize called Runs on Atlassian Apps. All projects that do not egress and explain that in their project submission can be eligible for that bonus prize.
