Connecting Jira Cloud to Yellowfin

Hi everyone,

For those using Yellowfin - has anyone had success connecting it to Jira Cloud? I’m attempting to use the JSON connector along with an Atlassian authentication token but all I can ever see is the basic JSON response - the same I would see if I weren’t authenticated.

I’ve asked on the Yellowfin developer community and they pointed me here. Any thoughts to share?

@TimS, I’m not familiar with the app, nor the integration connector; however, I took a look @ their docs. Looks simple enough… so, are you just constructing an API request with basic auth embedded in JSON File URL field?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve figured it out. The problem I had was that I wasn’t sending the auth token encoded correctly. A second set of eyes here helped me solve the problem.
