I am building a Custom UI forge app in the issue panel. I have a list of to dos that are shown within the issue panel and I want the user to be able to click on one and a new issue panel is shown for the subtask where the to do text is the title of the subtask.
Any guidance on how I can accomplish this?

If I understood your need correctly, the CreateIssueModal might be able to help with this. Can you check it out and let us know if this works for your use case?

Hey @ianRagudo, thanks for the reply! I tried using CreateIssueModal, but it doesn’t work with the subtask type. I was able to create higher level issue types, but not subtasks. 
Any suggestions?

I reached out to the team that owns CreateIssueModal and confirmed that it currently does not support subtask creation yet. If this feature is something you want the team to prioritize, kindly create a feature suggestion in JAC (jira.atlassian.com) and choose the project Atlassian Ecosystem (ECO).
