Custom UI Dashboard Gadget Resource's View is Not Submittable

I am trying to submit formdata on form submission on the gadget edit screen and getting this message from today (2024-08-18):

Error: this resource's view is not submittable.
    at submit.js:11:15
    at Generator.next (<anonymous>)
    at i (tslib.es6.mjs:118:56)

My submission function:

  const onSubmit = async (formData) => { 
    try {
      return await view.submit(formData);
    } catch (e) {
      console.log('Error submitting form', e);
    }
  };

This functionality was working previously without errors. Can you propose a possible solution?
