Excel / Office support in a Confluence page

Hi,

Trying to get my colleagues ‘warmed up’ for Confluence I’m facing an issue that I can’t simply edit an Excel on a Confluence page?! I’ve read about macro’s and tried the companion app but I didn’t find this to be possible / easy.
I got errors like:
Something went wrong.
We couldn’t generate a preview for this file.
Try downloading the file to view it.

I don’t want to download, edit and upload. I just want to show the Excel on the page, give the users the ability to filter on columns, etc.
I need to convince my colleagues to ‘move’ from sharepoint for documentation to Confluence but this is a real issue
