Jira Get Issue API returns worklogs for the issue up to a certain number of worklogs with a single call. The problem is, I also need “worklog properties” and this endpoint is not returning properties of the worklogs, it returns only the worklogs themselves. When retrieving Worklogs using Get Issue Worklogs API I can pass
expand=properties to also get worklog properties. My aim is, getting worklogs and properties when retrieving issue details using the first method above. I have checked the REST API documentation and it states that you can use “.” notation to expand nested objects. I have tried expand=worklog.properties, expand=fields.worklog.properties etc. but I couldn’t get it working. My question is, Is there any way to get worklog properties when retrieving an issue?
