Extending macro toolbar in Confluence editor

Hi,

We have a feature request this is being heavily demanded by our customers. In our server plugin, we are able to extend the macro toolbar in the Confluence editor as shown in the following image as well as handle a double click event to provide extended functionality:

In cloud the toolbar provided only allows us to edit and remove the macro (as far as I know). In the server version we are able to modify properties directly on the toolbar, and use the edit button to launch our diagram editor, but in cloud we have to bundle everything in a single custom macro editor, which requires our users to have to go through a 2 step process to the diagram editor. We have several customers who are complaining that this adversely affects their work flow.

Is there any option to extend the macro toolbar or respond to a double click in ACJS 5? Even just having the ability to detect a double click launch would be a great benefit.

Thank You,
Jan

Hi Jan - unfortunately the double click functionality you mentioned isn’t available.

As for the properties of the panel, these can be modified. Have a look at PropertyPanel as part of dynamic macros: https://developer.atlassian.com/static/connect/docs/latest/modules/confluence/dynamic-content-macro.html
