Forge app log retention: 30 days everywhere on the developer side, 60 on the admin page. Which one does the Admin Hub download get?

CHANGE-1624 from April 2024 cut the app log download window from 60 days to 30. The backend enforces it. forge logs --since 2026-07-01 against our dev app fails with

Error: Exception while fetching data (/appLogsWithMetaData) : The requested time range must not exceed 30 days.

and a window that ends 35 days ago gets earliestStart must not be more than 30 days in the past. The developer docs agree: view-app-logs#filters says logs are only available for the past 30 days. That is the sentence the 2023 answer on 65844 quoted when it still said 60.

The admin side says otherwise. Manage an installed app tells customers that granting log access “will give vendors access to logs for up to 60 days ago”. The Export app logs API reaches back 14.

Is the admin page stale, or does the Admin Hub download keep 60 days while the console keeps 30?

It came up this week on a thread where the Admin Hub download is all the customer gets, and I could not say how far back it reaches.

30 days on both sides then, and the dialog’s own banner says the same, which is more than the support page did. Marking this as the solution.
