I develop custom apps for a small biotech company (this is a side thing - my main job is coding other stuff). Anyway yesterday my only forge app broke with this error Maximum update depth exceeded. This can happen when a component repeatedly calls setState inside componentWillUpdate or componentDidUpdate. React limits the number of nested updates to prevent infinite loops.. It is a very simply app - basically just a straight input box with a little extra information on the view side. (Almost a copy of the forge-risk-assessment example). I was using it mostly to get my feet wet in the forge space. Anyway - suddenly this production app broken - total smackdown. If a user tries to “create” an issue with this app then Jira throws the error. It could be something with my code - however the app has worked for nearly 2 months and then now it throws the error.
