Hi,

The permissions page ([https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/manifest-reference/permissions/](https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/manifest-reference/permissions/) ) describes `write:confluence-content` as `Create pages, blogs, comments, and questions.` but I can’t find any documentation or examples of how to create pages with forge, is it possible?

Hi @MichaelT, if you haven’t yet, check out the the Confluence REST API docs here [https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/api-group-content/#api-wiki-rest-api-content-post](https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/api-group-content/#api-wiki-rest-api-content-post)

I just wanted to say, this might the least helpful response in the history of responses. RTFM, followed by a link to a manual page that doesn’t exist, and said manual only has links to creating pages in Connect.

So, to repeat the question: is there any example of how to create pages with Forge?

I suppose the link works at the time.

Now we are supposed to use the API v2 to create page, so to follow this doc: [https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-page/#api-pages-post](https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-page/#api-pages-post)

You can see on the right column a basic example with Forge.

The API doc is very terse, I encourage you to check others people post, like this one: [Confluence REST API v2 — Create page with atlas\_doc\_format representation - #2 by KingChungHuang](https://community.developer.atlassian.com/t/confluence-rest-api-v2-create-page-with-atlas-doc-format-representation/67565/2) to better understand what the payload should contain.

That link is more helpful. Thank you.

The problem is that I can’t understand the examples, being an old C programmer. I would look up a tutorial on what language Forge uses, but I can’t even figure out what that is.

Edit: OK, I guess it’s NodeJS (javascript). I’ll start there.
