Hi @bentley !
Thank for the reply.
I’ve updated the directory with install @forge/bridge@latest but it didn’t help.
Perhaps it’s because I’m using “storage” and not “requestConfluence”.
I’ll open a new topic.

Hi @bentley @marketa.jancova @SamSmyth
Do you guys have any news on this?
We’ve being trying to solve this for almost two weeks now and there’s no solutions.
The apps were built, they work perfectly, but when we deploy them we still get this “10 seconds limit” error and we don’t know what to do.
This happens with the storage module, but also with other bridge functions.
Please please please help us out with this!
It’s our last hope of solving this issue and we really want this to work!
Hey @YogevD,
Currently the 10 second limit still stands on any invocation that hits our backend, for example ui kit renders and invoke
calls from @forge/bridge
. The only way to work around this at present would be to do less work in a single invocation (for example if doing a lot of reads and writes with the storage module break that up into multiple invoke
calls from the custom ui frontend, which has no limitation on time).
Thanks for responding @SamSmyth !
Me and @bentley already went over this. I broke the function into only two backend calls for each invoke function but we get the same error. Again - only when we deploy the app, when we tunnel the app, the limitations go away.
There are only 21 day’s left for the Hackathon, and we really need this to work, that’s the only thing preventing us from participating.
Any solution, even a workaround, would be awesome.
Hi, do we have any updates on this? I am trying to execute an invocation, but the limit is 25 seconds, which, even though is higher, it is not enough for the data I need to process in backend.
Or do you know about a workaround when you need to process the data in backend and then maybe notify frontend?
Same problem here. 25 seconds seems not to be enough…
@SamSmyth The 25 secs limit is not working for us as we are calling ChatGPT and it’s takes longer. Is there anything has been done to get to 60secs?
We invested in Forge App with atlassian preference. Now we are stuck. And looks like it’s pretty old ask from so many people.
When this thread started the limit was 10s, imagine your struggles back then! Rather than reanimate this old thread, please provide your feedback to the PM here:
