We’ve finally finished rewriting our Atlassian Connect app as a Forge app. We didn’t take the Connect on Forge route because it looked even more confusing than starting from scratch. I installed the Forge app from the cli and it seemed to replace the previously installed AC app. Which was nice. Unfortunately but not unexpectedly there were some other issues that needed to be fixed. Now we’d need to test the migration again, and probably repeat this loop quite many times.
But apparently installing Connect apps is no longer possible. Is there any work around for installing connect apps to test migration?
