This is actually my first post here. I’ve been active in the Atlassian Community for a while, but I only recently discovered that the Atlassian Developer Community exists as its own space, so happy to be here and to connect with fellow developers!
I’m exploring what’s possible with Forge and wanted to ask the community before I go too far down one path.
I’d like to build something that notifies or updates the user in real time inside a Forge app. To make it concrete, here’s my scenario:
Imagine a Confluence (or Jira) page with a Forge app on it. When something changes in the background, for example, another user updates a record, a task gets completed, or some external event happens, I’d like the user looking at the page to see that update appear live, without having to manually refresh.
