Is there a way to migrate Forge App to Jira Server/Data Center?

Hi,

I have developed a Forge App based on Jira Cloud.
Is there a way to migrate it from Forge App to something that is compatible with Jira Server and Jira Data Center, instead of developing a similar App from scratch on another framework?
Should it be Connect App?

Any ideas and instructions would be appreciated.

Hi @anon57582319,

Sorry for the late reply here. Server and Data Centre apps don’t use Forge or Connect. They are built using the P2 plugin framework and OSGi. They run on the same jvm that Confluence or Jira is running.

The start for building this is in Getting started

So. there’s no clear 1:1 path for creating a server/DC app from Forge or Connect.
