issueAction without Modal Dialog

Hello all,

I’m very new to Forge and loving it so far but I’m struggling to find whether what I want to do is silly or not.

So I want to create an Issue Action that creates a string based on the fields in an item. I’ve got this working so far but I don’t want the Issue Action to display a modal dialog. Is this possible?

Did you ever figure this out? I’m working on a jira-issue-action-custom-ui app and don’t want the modal popup.
