Could Atlassian consider adding the warning from past release notes:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-10-0-x-upgrade-notes-1431241649.html#:~:text=Platform%20releases%20allow,your%20product%20version
It can help increase the amount of migration testing that customers perform and reduce outages and production outage related support load on app vendors.

I echo the message by @BorisBerenberg, please add the platform 7 warnings and keep them in each release note (and upgrade note) until platform 6 LTS versions are end-of-life. People will not update to 10.0 and walk through each minor version, they will upgrade straight to the latest. It would do good to manage expectations of what’s waiting for them when they upgrade, so they are well aware of the need to put down additional testing efforts.

We have noticed a pretty severe regression (at least for us) in a central REST API. Before, the /rest/api/2/serverInfo call was able to be called anonymously to gather information about the system baseUrl and version. Now, calling the serverInfo endpoint is only possible with authentication, which breaks a lot of things for us (as we interact with Jira DC systems also from our Cloud infrastructure, and during the initial setup we call this service without authentication).
We have not found any changelog on this change and it has been working in at least the original Jira 10 release. Any ideas what is happening @MariaSobiska ? This is actively causing us support tickets which we cannot solve on our side…
