Hello there,
We are using the @atlaskit/jql-editor in one of our projects and recently, I’ve found that there is another ‘dependant’ wrapper named jql-editor-forge.
Can somebody explain the need for it and the difference and more particularly why is there a ‘forge’ inside this package name.
I’ve checked the jql-editor-forge and it looks like it’s a simplified ( pre-configured ) version of the jql-editor, which is fine ( or maybe not, now you can’t extend your autocomplete ).
The keyword ‘forge’ in this new jql-editor package implicitly suggest that there is something special, forge related, but is there ? I couldn’t find anything and most probably I am not the only one confused by this.
Also, for years the problem with this component is that there are 2-3 different versions ( now even one more ) and almost zero documentation or component flexability.
Is the plan here to deprecate some of them and maybe the ‘forge’ one is gonna be the supported one and potentially extended ?
Thank you in advance !
