we have started migrating one of our Connect apps to Forge and are already facing issues that block a proper migration.
In Connect static content macros, it was possible to return Confluence internal macros as part of the response — in our case the Anchor macro. This allowed us to define page-level anchors for cross-navigation (e.g. citations ↔ references).
As far as I can see, there is no equivalent in Forge UI Kit or AdfRenderer, and Custom UI is not an option since it does not allow anchors to be defined at page level.
@Atlassian: Is there anything planned to close this gap or provide an alternative for Forge developers?
