Need API for getting a proper CSS reset for dynamic content macros

Hello,
We are tracking multiple style bugs for our cloud dynamic content macros that have the same root cause: there are two styles of pages (old and new/fabric).
There is no API for detecting old style vs new fabric style, there is no API for getting CSS styles that match the containing page style. Maybe there could be an API to get the correct CSS reset no matter what style page we are in, so we don’t have to know if it is old or new?
We need more than a CSS reset, we need the specific button/link/form/etc styling for the page (tables, emoticons, user references, etc.)
