this is a really good addition. And partly addresses my concerns that I have described in: Deprecation of V1-Api Confluence – Major concerns.
One question I would like to ask if there are already any plans for a V2 replacement of the search endpoint. Will there be still something like cql in the future? Can we do search across different content types (pages, blog posts and comments). We currently heavily rely on searching for custom content properties.
