We are using Confluence Cloud in our organization.
We’ve observed that when we upload an attachment to an existing Confluence page, the page metadata — specifically the “Last Updated” date and the “Updated By” user — does not get updated. This behavior is inconsistent with our expectations, as uploading an attachment is considered a change to the page.
Because of this, we are unable to track who made the last modification and when it occurred. This creates challenges in auditing changes and maintaining content accountability.
Expected Behavior:
Whenever an attachment is added to a Confluence page, the last updated metadata (date and user) should reflect that change.
