Rollback a major release of an add-on

I have a major release of my add-on planned with a completely new codebase and localBaseUrl.

I want to understand if:

  • Customers need to manually approve this major version upgrade (even if the scopes are the same).
  • There’s a way for customers to rollback to the old version of my app if they prefer it.

Hi @RhysDiab,

From my experience:

  • new version with changed URL but same scope does not require manual approve from Jira admin (the update will go automatically)
  • there is no way/button in Jira for customers to rollback to the old version (installing directly from URL might work though - we didn’t try it in official Marketplace versions)
