normally, I let notify myself via RSS feeds when a new EAP or public version is available for Confluence or Jira, so that we can react accordingly for our DC applications.
However, today I noticed, that the RSS links are not working anymore.
It seems that the RSS feed, https://my.atlassian.com/download/feeds/confluence.rss, which published information about new releases of Confluence, cannot (or can no longer) be read by any of my RSS readers. I just get an error “This feed does not validate.” from the W3 validator.
Maybe only the RSS declaration is missing? But I know too little about RSS to be sure …
Other than the EAP RSS feeds, which seem to have no content?, the Download RSS feeds seem to provide information, which cannot be parsed. So probably different issues?
It’s not working for us as well. The issue may be that the RSS feed provided by Atlassian is malformed. Not sure how loose RSS is in practice, but it does look wrong when compared to this sample RSS file.
