Saving Macro data outside macro editor

Hey guys,

I have a question. Is it possible to save macro without being in the macro editor? After I insert a macro in a confluence page, the user is able to interact with it, and I want to store a flag regarding that interaction. Is it possible to do that?

Thanks in advance!

Well, you have two options. Your add-on could edit the page, changing a macro parameter. Or (probably the better option) you you could save a value separately from the page contents, either in Confluence or in your own database.
