Select list in plugin are rendering weirdly with many arrows in them post upgrade to 8.13.X

Hi Community,

We are working on upgrade to latest LTS and we see that our custom plugin VM files which have select tags are not rendering correctly. They have arrows all over the length that is making them unreadable. What is it that is changed and what is the remedy?

AUI has a major version bump ( to 9.x) in 8.13. Have you checked the change log if your plugin needs to make adjustments?
