Setting which sidebar menu is visible?

I’ve got a Connect application nearly complete, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to define which sidebar stays visible once i’ve gone into my application. Current behavior:

  1. Navigate to the project view
  2. Open my plugin\application through the link i’ve said should be there
  3. The application opens, but…
  4. The sidebar switches to the “Jira Software” view (ie Your Work, Projects, Dashboards, etc)

Is it possible to make it so the sidebar stays on project view?

If you use a project page module then. It should stay on the project. What module type are you using?

for future folks - the learning process is what it is, i was using a ‘generalPages’ module, switched as recommended and it works as expected now.
