If the overall messaging of Atlassian regarding forge is that it is production ready and that it is more secure & reliable compared to Connect, it is weird that A) a critical feature like Forge Storage API is still in experimental phase and B) that App data stored in Forge Storage API is not part of the backup & restore procedure.
You are selling a story of a robust, secure & reliable service even though that service does not meet even the most basic standard of having backup & restore.
