Hi,
I know that I can over write a card description, is there a way to prepend or append to an existing description on a card. Most cards have War & Peace novel written with icons, emoji’s and every other imaginable JSON encoding nightmare to deal with.
If all I want to do is add something to the top of a description or at the end is there a call for dealing with that. If not anyone have any advice on dealing with all the possibilities of description payload encoding.
TIA
I would say just read the description in and then make a subsequent call with your text added to it. So, it’ll be two calls at the end of the day. During the read call, hang on to the description and use that in your update call.
Thanks been doing that and it sort of works, sometimes the description does not always go back in the way it came out. Hence be nice to have an update description or append/prepend flag
Does the formatting change if you don’t add anything to it? I would question the function you’re using; that may be affecting your format without you knowing. Trello isn’t doing anything but what you tell it to.
