I am using confluence server 7.13.7. Is there a way through which I can get a user’s username through the user’s mail?

Isn’t this the exact same question you asked [here](https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/REST-API-to-get-currently-logged-in-user-s-username/qaq-p/2152647), in the Community forum, where you were provided with a very detailed and specific answer?
