Why does the documentation URL for v3 Marketplace REST APIs include v4?

If I go to [https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/rest/v3](https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/rest/v3) then I get redirected to the Product Tags REST API.

Not sure what the logic is. Does not affect my work, but it’s confusing.
