Add Custom Field to Create Issue Screen

Hello everybody,
I am trying to implement a custom field in the create-Issue screen. This field should show some Information based on the content of an other field. I have currently no idea how to do it. Does anybody realised something like this before and can give me some hints?
I got the Plugins Scriptrunner and ElementsConnect as well.

Are you more interested in programmatically creating a plugin to add a custom field? If so, this tutorial is a good place to start.

For creating custom fields (not via plugin/app), try this KB.
