Is it possible to add a new customized space type when we are presented with “Create a new space” dialog (see below):
We have blueprint template plug-in developed for confluence server product and we are looking for a replacement when we migrate to confluence cloud.

I found this request ([CONFCLOUD-38015] Space Blueprint module for Connect framework - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.) on this topic which was marked as WON’T DO a few years ago. The status is still valid and it applies to both Connect and Forge.
There isn’t a workaround or much conversation about this discussing alternatives in the community so I don’t have much to add here.
