Api search jql nextpage broken appear in wrong condition

Hi,

I’m using the endpoint /rest/api/3/search/jql in python and for a certain jql, the response contain a nextPageToken (and isLast at false), but:

  • The API returnCode is 400 with the message “Le jeton de page suivante fourni n’est pas valide ou a expiré.” or in english “the given next page token is not valid or has expired”
  • When I test my jql directly in JIRA, there is no more than 9 result…

Anyone has an idea ?

Sound a bit weird, if you have a JQL with 9 results, the nextPageToken should be null, what is you maxResults value ?

Hi @FlixAndre, my maxResults value was set at 50.
It’s really strange because i call this API nearly 30 times for my scrip and it’s the only one that have this behavior… and my JQL nearly the same

Log number of results (response issues array length) in response and check if this one call with nextPageToken really returns just a few results or it returns requested maxResults (i.e. 50) number of results .
