App installation fails while using approved "access_email_addresses" scope

Hello,

I am involved in developing an app which has been approved for access_email_addresses scope as mentioned here DEVHELP-4093. As per the last response, we were told:

Your use case is approved however unfortunately it will take about a week or so longer to get access to the email API.

It has since been 3 weeks, and even now uploading the app on a test cloud instance fails with the following message:

Installation failed. The app specifies the ACCESS_EMAIL_ADDRESSES scope, but it is not currently approved for such access.

Is there a more set of actions required to be done to proceed with testing of this app scope?

The previous respondent has “no access the request” anymore, so any question there since the has not been replied.

Were you able to figure out what the issue was here? How did you get it to work?

I’m trying to test out the email api, is there a way to test it out without applying for approval on a dev instance of jira?
