Hi everyone,
If you’re planning to support App Editions (Advanced Editions) in your apps — have you already started thinking how to communicate this in the app’s UI?
I’m especially curious about:
- Where in the app would you show upgrade prompts?
- What kind of UX patterns (banners, modals, locked features) make the most sense?
- How to keep it informative but not intrusive?
Would love to hear your thoughts on this from a UX/UI perspective!

This depends on the functionality that the advanced edition offers. In Wisary for example, the advanced edition offers capabilities that larger companies care about (integration of organizational context to make it available for AI). These capabilities are only available after custom onboarding. This is not something that makes sense to try to upsell in the product UI itself, so we are not currently advertising advanced functionality in the UI.
