We have developed a ScriptRunner Listener for a customer that updates issues in Jira. Using the notifyUsers parameter of the edit issue request, https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v2/api-group-issues/#api-rest-api-2-issue-issueidorkey-put, we have successfully suppressed the email notifications. However, the users are still getting notification alerts in the Jira and Confluence apps themselves.
Is there any way of stopping the notifications from appearing on the log?
Can the notification be stopped from being created in the first place, not just suppressed?
