We’re exploring the possibility of integrating a Chrome extension—capable of video recording, network capture, and console logging—into our product. As we are shifting towards Forge, we’d like to validate whether such a browser extension can be used as a companion to a Forge app (assuring the runs on Atlassian badge and possibly the inclusion on AGC).
Is this type of integration supported or compatible with the Forge framework? Any guidance or considerations would be greatly appreciated.

This is unfortunately not supported with Forge. I don’t understand exactly your use-case here, but something like that would be hard to implement in a safe way, since we can’t have control over what the Chrome extension can or not do.
However I’d still recommend creating an issue/suggestion in the public Forge jira board, with details about why you need this and what you are trying to achieve. We usually consider implementing features from the public board when there’s enough interest from the community.
