Confluence 6.5 EAP and new Azure deployment templates

Hi everyone,

Exciting news from the Confluence team today - our new Azure deployment template is ready for you to take for a test drive with Confluence 6.4 or later. The template automates provisioning a new Confluence Data Center cluster in Microsoft Azure. Head to Getting started with Confluence Data Center in Azure to find out how it works.

We’ve still got some work to do, including an app for the Azure marketplace, but we’d love your feedback on our work so far. Raise an issue to tell us what you think.

In other news, the first Confluence 6.5 EAP milestone was made available yesterday.

EAP releases provide a snapshot of our work-in-progress and give you an opportunity to test and fix your add-ons before the final release. We’ll be releasing regular milestones and betas during the development of Confluence 6.5, so head to Preparing for Confluence 6.5 to find out what’s changed. We’ll update that page each week with any notable changes.

If you have any problems with an EAP release, please raise an issue to let us know. The earlier we know about problems, the more time we’ll have to fix them before the final release.

Enjoy!

(P.S. for everyone lucky enough to be in San Jose this week, hope you’re having a ball at Summit 2017)
