We are experiencing an issue with our Confluence Cloud instance where our custom macro is not rendering content as expected. The macro configuration part is functioning correctly, but the rendering of the macro content is failing.
Issue Details:
- The macro configuration and setup complete successfully.
- The issue is specifically with rendering the macro content on the Confluence page.
- This issue started suddenly today, while it was working fine the day before.
- We have not made any changes to our Confluence Cloud instance or the macro.
- No errors are shown in the Confluence UI, but the macro content is missing.

Hi @YUVARAJBYuvii. Have you tried running forge tunnel to see if there are any errors being thrown on the backend?
@nmansilla Our customer started experiencing this issue only since yesterday, whereas everything was functioning correctly before without any problems. We have not made any changes to Confluence Cloud, and if there was an issue on the backend previously, it should have exhibited the same behavior earlier.
For internal testing, we use tunneling, and the same issue occurs when hosted on the application server as well. Could you please clarify why this issue has suddenly occurred?
@YUVARAJBYuvii That error is definitely not thrown by Forge or Confluence. The error message / info being displayed in the macro is coming from the app (that’s your app logo / message).
