Hi all, we have a couple apps in the marketplace. For one the latest major version is Forge only modules, but the previous major version is Connect on Forge. We are trying to backport the connectToForgeMigration module so our customers that haven’t manually upgraded yet don’t get the “You have apps running on a platform that will be unsupported after January 2027. These apps may stop working on that date…”
connectToForgeMigration:
- key: migration-declaration
migrationGuideUrl: https://[supportsite]/[migrationpage]
willMigrateToForgeBeforeEOS: YES
The result of deploying the updated manifest is the legacy tag and the scare message disappeared on Connected Apps. But it shows Paid Update lozenge and no message appears containing the migration guide URL. Same with the app details page.
There is no licensing change from free to paid; the app has been a paid app for many years. Both the previous major version and current version have licensing.enabled: true.
Has anyone used the connectToForgeMigration module in a similar manner and had it work? Any suggestions?
Note we did raise ECOHELP-165589 for this about 24 hours ago, but as it is P3 don’t know how long we’ll have to wait.
Thanks in advance
Chris
