Creating a commercial JIRA AddOn

Hi all;

We’re considering integrating our web app into JIRA. Reading the documentation it looks like there’s no application or other process, we just create the app and push it into the JIRA marketplace.

Is this correct? Or is there some other steps I need to also accomplish?

And we’ll be charging for the use of our AddIn. Is that something we handle?

Before the app can appear publicly in our Marketplace, it needs to be reviewed and approved by Atlassian staff. The documentation for this process is available at https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/app-approval-guidelines/.

There’s additional documentation explaining the payment options at https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/selling-on-marketplace/. It seems you will want to list the app as paid via Atlassian.
