We’ve just released another Early Access Program (EAP-02) of Crowd 7.0 so you can get familiar with the upcoming changes. We’re planning to release the EAP-03 at the end of July 2025.
Highlights
- Data Center security and usability updates: We’re upgraded to Spring 6, Jakarta EE 10 and Tomcat 10. We also upgraded to AUI 10 and jQuery 3.
- Added support for Oracle 23ai: Crowd 7.0 will support two versions of the Oracle database: 19 and 23ai.
- Struts security updates: We’ve improved the security by fine-tuning the Struts configuration.
- Removal of deprecated components: We’ve removed code which was previously marked as
@Deprecated.
