We received numerous requests to customize emails that are sent out Jira Service management when a ticket is created. We would like to embed content pertinent to a user request and approval emails. For example when an approval request is sent to approver, the email from Jira is void of content that might be useful to make an approval through email. Instead, a user is forced to login to to view the request and approve it. In our case, we need to send a list of items requested by user. The approver needs to see this in email. Is there a way to do this?
You can customize the email notifications if you are not using a free plan.
