I am implementing a new custom field type, and while I can easily (and must) provide VM templates for the display of my field in both issue view and column mode of issue searcher, I don’t seem to be able to customize its display in dashboard gadgets such as the Two-dimensional statistics gadget. Yet, some system fields such as the Status field are displayed in a non-textual way (the Status field is displayed using lozenges)
Is there any way to provide custom formatting for custom field types displayed in dashboard gadgets?
