Customizing Jira user interface with Forge

I’m not sure if this is the right section to ask this but I am wondering if there is anything that Forge provides that could allow to customize the Jira software UI.

For example, customizing the background color of an issue or changing the background color of a board column.

I did some research but I didn’t find anything that could work. I am also new to forge therefore I may have missed something.

I don’t think Forge offers quite what you’re looking for though. Jira does have UI modifications which allow you to customise the user interface on the issue view and issue create screens but that’s about as close as it gets. Nothing on the boards I’m afraid.
