At the moment we can create/retrieve IDs and delete databases.
Is there a rough timeline (Q1->Q4) for when we can access database content and in the meantime is there any other approach we can use to read the data other than a manual export? Cheers
I’m also interested on this. I don’t understand how it could be useful to provide an endpoint for creating a database without providing endpoints for manipulating the data.
Cheers
@DaraOhEidhin and @ZacariesBenamiar,
You both raise good questions, with the implicit suggestion that Confluence Databases should have a rich, full-featured API. But this developer community thread won’t be treated as a formal feature request. Could you please open a “suggestion” issue yourself in our open Jira (JAC) in the ECO project? Once you have the issue key, please let us know here so other folks can watch, vote, and comment.
Hello @ZacariesBenamiar , @DaraOhEidhin
As @ibuchanan has already mentioned, the place for making feature requests is the Atlassian projects space.
In there you’ll find CONFCLOUD-77328 requesting more REST API functionality for Confluence databases, as this topic has been raised a number of times in this developer forum previously.
Thanks to you both for your response!
