I have Confluence on premise server version 6.1. When I work with it through web browser, response is immediate. However, every API call from the same computer takes ages (up to 30 seconds per call). It seems universal for any call. What can be the reason? How to resolve it? Thank you.
I don’t know how to resolve it, as this is a per se case, but you can track what is going on in your system by enabling profiling in the admin menu.
Then you can find out what are the bottlenecks, if any.
@Panos, thank you so much for taking time to reply. I understand how vague my question is. Alas, it is not our system but a system of our client with very strict security regulations. We cannot get a system log or any other sufficient disclosure from a client. We are able, however, to get some scarce logs for our API calls. I had a hope that something can be clarified from a client side without touching the server on admin level.
